The Vandana Tubeless Seeder was developed about 20 years ago to handle a large range of seed sizes, from fine seed like Petunia to coarse seed like Melon and Marigold. The Template field is the exact size of the tray, and seeds are dropped directly into the tray.
-
The Seeder sows the entire tray at one drop, and the operator can visually inspect the seed placement prior to dropping it in the tray. Seeds are held on the Template with a Variable Vacuum, which adjusts for the size of the seed. A Variable Speed Vibrator is controlled by a Momentary Switch, and helps to move small seed on the Template.
-
A Variable Adjustment accommodates trays or pots from 1" to 4" high, and drop patterns are available for direct seeding into all trays, including 1020 sizes, Speedling type trays, or individual pots.
-
The Seeder Table Top is galvanized sheet metal and has an accessory shelf below, as well as wheels for ease in moving the seeder into the seeding line.
-
A small portable air compressor is required (60-80 psi) to operate the Automatic Air Seed Release and Pneumatic Air Tray-Stop. This is supplied by the customer.
